Falmouth 500 2010

In 2006 the Fal 500 was started by a few competitors who wished to do their qualifier together and asked the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club to arrange an informal race from Falmouth.

A race was then set up to go 250 miles out into the Atlantic, around the Fastnet Rock and back.

The race turned out to be very popular and is being held as a prelude to every Azab, please contact us if you are interested.

The course will take the fleet from Falmouth to The Fastnet Rock then to a position Lat. 49º 00´ N Long. 008º 00´W then to Falmouth for an approximate distance of  500 nm.
